Jules Kounde’s ‘demand’ to Xavi over Barcelona role revealed

Jules Kounde has forewarned Xavi that he has not come to Barcelona to play at center back, according to a report in Spain.

A center back concerning proficient profession, the 23-year-old concentrated on the right 50% of the security at past club Sevilla and has joined a Barcelona side who at this point appear to have an overabundance at center back, where Andreas Christensen, Ronald Araujo, Gerard Pique and Eric Garcia beforehand vieing for minutes there.

Xavi has recently examined a need to help at right-back, having sidelined Sergino Dest for using Araujo out wide during the season-opening draw against Rayo Vallecano, and AS state Kounde has proactively made it clear he won’t play there.

Kounde is said to have advised Xavi that he would prefer not to be used at right-back at Barcelona and he means to see standard minutes at center back once he recovers from the injury which has deferred his affiliation debut for his new side.

Yet again it is even guessed that Kounde’s decision to reprove Chelsea’s benefit was because Blues manager Thomas Tuchel wouldn’t block including the Frenchman at solidly into the perfect place of Reece James, while Xavi was happy to agree to his advantage.

Kounde should be content to play at right-back on occasion if there is a critical opening in the team, yet he doesn’t require ordinary minutes past concentration back as need might arise to show he can play there on the worldwide stage with France as well.

Accordingly, Xavi continues to search for another right-back. He had expected to sign Cesar Azpilicueta yet missed the Spaniard as he inked an additional two-year concurrence with Chelsea taking everything into account.
